HAZARDOUS MATERIAL CLEAN-UP AND MITIGATION
The Thiobacillus (bacteria) in Super Sulphur Plus can literally eat hydrocarbons (petroleum) for breakfast.
The organic process is called bioremediation and, over the last ten years, has come into sharp focus as the safest, most efficient (and cost effective) means to clean-up oil spills of all kinds.
SUPER SULPHUR PLUS AND BIOREMEDIATION
The naturally occurring minerals and bacteria in Super Sulphur Plus don't just absorb or displace oil, like sawdust or detergent. They actually attack the hydrocarbon molecules aggressively and cause them to degenerate.
The 'digested' oil molecules are reformed by the Thiobacillus and released as either harmless, benign sulphides or as carbon dioxide gas.
- Note about CO2 released in the bioremediation process:
The volume of carbon dioxide released by the action of the bacteria during bioremediation is so small as to be completely insignificant. Even modest compost piles - or tiny tracts of decomposing vegetation of any kind - produce far more CO2 than the micro-organisms involved in bioremediation.
WHAT THE EPA HAS TO SAY
The Environmental Protection Agency explains simply:
"A note about bioremediation agents: Biodegradation is the process in which oil molecules are broken down by bacteria (you can think of it as the bacteria "eating" the long hydrocarbon chains that make up oil).
Biodegradation happens naturally, without our doing anything at all. You don't need to add bacteria to make biodegradation happen, because any water from the ocean, a lake, or a pond naturally contains bacteria. However, to make oil biodegrade faster, people sometimes apply bioremediation agents or techniques:
- They may add nutrients in the form of fertilizer (such as you might use in your garden).
- They may add bacteria designed to be especially effective at degrading oil.
- They may use techniques to make oxygen more available to native bacteria (e.g., adding special chemicals or tilling oiled substrate)..."
SUPER SULPHUR PLUS, WATER AND AIR
It takes nothing more than water and air to activate Super Sulphur Plus as a natural bioremediation agent, the same as it does as a fertilizer.
In other words, Super Sulphur Plus is already a powerful toxic clean-up mechanism, even when applied normally to crops, fields, orchards, gardens, vineyards, barns or stockyards.
Super Sulphur Plus is the only organic fertilizer on the market that contains everything it takes to make it a fast-acting, natural remedy for toxic surface oil spills.

All of the minerals and elements you'll find in Super Sulphur Plus come directly out of the ground at a single excavation site in Nevada where they occur together natually in layers.
Super Sulphur Plus is not chemically combined or manufactured like inorganic commercial fertilizers and supplements.
Why pay up to $700.00/ton for individual soil supplements (like elemental sulphur, Potash, Gypsum, etc.) when you can get Super Sulphur Plus at the source for a fraction of the cost, year-round? |
